Water-logged

I was in a rural setting with Des... it was a lovely day and everything was going well until we decided to ford a stream... when we got into the stream it suddenly became much, much wider. I fell on my back and became water-logged - I was scrambling to save a leather satchel that Des gave me for my birthday. I also tried to save (but failed) a pair of custom Nike ID trainers that I was wearing.
